Sofitel Atrium Budapest
Sofitel Atrium
Budapest, known earlier as Hyatt Regency Budapest, became
a member of the French Accor Group in summer 2003. Although
the hotel, renowned for its atrium-like interior full with
splendid greenery, went through a complete renovation between
1997-2003, its range of services has continuously been expanded
since it became a Sofitel hotel in 2003. And this trend is
set to continue in the future.
Over two thirds of the 351 rooms offer splendid panoramic
views of the Chain Bridge and the historic Buda Castle. The
52 luxury and 2 presidential suites radiate an atmosphere
of typically French elegance and offer ultimate comfort.
The bathrooms, laid out in marble, boast the world-famous
cosmetic products of the French Roger & Gallet. Sofitel
has also introduced its "music and video on request" service,
thus offering a wide range of entertainment opportunities.
The Sofitel Executive Floor, located ont he upper floor and
consisting of 35 rooms, caters to the demands of customers
who seek tailor-made services.
The hall is the perfect location for business meetings or
just a brief relaxation after a busy day. A well-equipped
Fitness Center is also at the guests’ disposal. The ballroom
and a further 10 separate rooms, all equipped with state-of-the-art
technology, constitue the conference facilities at the Sofitel.
The two restaurants of the hotel, the Focaccia and the Atrium
Terrace, offer delightful Mediterranean and international
delicacies. For an after-dinner drink, the Bridge Bar, with
its astounding views of Budapest and the pleasant live piano
music, seems to be the perfect location.
